Remedial Technologies for Stacked Drum Area
-The three technologies (composting, thermal treatment and landfilling) can be performed either on site or off-site
- Off-site treatment/disposal requires that the material be transported by truck or rail to the treatment/disposal facility.
- For on-site treatment (composting and thermal) a portable unit is transported to or constructed on the site. Once the material is treated, the unit is dismantled and removed.
