Monitoring Well Network
  • Over 540 wells and piezometers are associated with the site
    Long Term Monitoring Plan
  • 120 wells sampled annually for organics and metals
  • 237 wells sampled semiannually for water level measurements
  • Toms River sampled semiannually upstream and downstream of the site for organics and metals

    Oak Ridge Area

    As part of EPA's 1989 decision document for the groundwater, affected residential irrigation wells were closed
    Affected area is on public water supply
    Institutional controls exist to prevent installation of wells in affected area
  • -Ocean County Health Department restrictions
