Jessica's Story

Our daughter Jessica was diagnosed with leukemia on Friday February 3rd, 1995. I can remember that day so clearly, as if it were yesterday. It is not the kind of memory that fades away; it is a moment frozen in time. From that day forward our lives would never be the same.
Jessica played soccer, ballet and was a Brownie. She had a very active life typical for a six-year-old. Her two brothers at the time she was diagnosed were 8 and 2 years old. So she was so excited when we learned that we were having another girl. Our life was complete, two boys and two girls. We felt very blessed.
