RE: Monthly Surveillance Program
Dear Mr. Hughmanic:
As agreed to at our meeting of September 18. 1974, this office will engage in a regular sampling program covering the well owned by the Toms River Water Company, which are located in the Pleasant Plains section of Dovgr Township; namely, Wells #22, 24, and 26 in the Parkvay Well Field and Well #20 an Routes 527 and 571. As you are aware, the first set of samples vere collected on October 12,
1974 and further sampling will proceed on a monthly basis.
The samples collected will be subject to both total extractible organics by the CCL4 extraction/IR method and the specific determination, utilizing the gas chromatigraph, of organic chemicals which have been found in the area.
When the usual new well tests are conducted on Wells #28 & 29 which are currently under construction in the Parkway Well Field, samples will be collected for the same. These wells will then be included on the regular monthly sampling program.
