Lauren is now almost three years old and was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer at the age of six months. Lauren had a massive abdominal tumor with spinal cord involvement which left her paralyzed from the waist down. Although undergoing grueling chemotherapy, operations and physical therapy, she remained energetic and determined. Lauren has been an inspiration and joy to anyone who has had the pleasure to know her. Lauren is now off treatment for one year and continues her battle against cancer. Lauren receives extensive physical therapy and is continuing to improve.
