Superfund site, bay topics for discussion

TOMS RIVER: The Ciba Superfund site cleanup, shorebird surveys and shellfish restoration in Barnegat Bay will be discussed at the Ocean Nature and Conservation Society's annual public forum on Tuesday.
The program, starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Ocean County administration building on Hooper Avenue at Washington Street, will feature Nellie Tispoura, director of the New Jersey Audubon Society's shorebird citizen science program; David Williams, technical director for Ciba Specialty Chemicals' remediation services; and Gef Flimlin of the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Service.
